Job Description
An established law firm is seeking an Associate attorney to help the growing client base. The ideal candidate is licensed in North Carolina and has 0 to 3 years of legal experience . While a background in complex civil litigation is ideal, we are open to candidates without that specific experience who demonstrate strong research and writing skills , professionalism , and the ability to work independently without micromanagement.
Recent admitted to the NC State Bar are welcome to apply.
Primary Practice Areas:
Commercial litigation.
Business disputes and dissolution.
Construction disputes.
Contract disputes.
Fraud and related civil issues.
Expectations:
Traditional billable hour structure.
Expectation of 20-30 billable hours per week, with encouragement to exceed that.
Flexibility in schedule, but consistent in-office presence is preferred.
Candidates should either be local to Western North Carolina or have a desire to relocate.
