Certified Linguist Translators

Location : 100% Remote

Duration : Long Term

Location-100% remote(need to work on EST time zone)

Interviews-

1 st round will be a language test

2 nd round will be a more in depth IV

Must Skills required

• Translation reviews, settings, Raw translation is required
• In depth experience with translation theory ,techniques , translating from source to target language
• Experience with Legal/Marketing /Financial is required
• CAT tools(like Trados, MemoQ, XTM, Phrase, etc. (similar tools in the industry)
• Machine Translation exp is required like experience with MTPE (machine translation post editing)
• ATA certified is highly preferred
• Vast knowledge of other translation skills (glossaries, term bases, style guides, etc.)

This position is for Enterprise Language Accessibility (ELA) team which is a horizontal function responsible for servicing multilingual requirements across the corporation. We support all channels of communication and customer points of contact by working with internal partners from Capital One's diversified lines of businesses. ELA is responsible for ensuring that the intent of the target language reflects the accuracy, consistency, compliance, and cultural appropriateness of the original English version while mirroring Capital One's voice. This position has a targeted focus in Spanish translation and involves the following core competencies; teamwork, strong communication skills, attention to detail, collaboration and the ability to adapt to change quickly.
