Geo Owl LLC , a trusted provider of intelligence and analytic solutions, is seeking Data Scientists at the Junior, Mid, and Senior levels to support advanced analytic operations. As part of our mission-focused team, you will design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making for critical national security missions.

Your Mission

As a Data Scientist with Geo Owl, you will leverage cutting-edge tools and methodologies to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. You will design predictive models, create advanced visualizations, and build AI-powered tools that automate processes and enhance analytic workflows. Your expertise will directly support operations, planning, and strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct data analytics, engineering, mining, exploratory, predictive, and statistical analysis to support decision-making.
• Retrieve, merge, and manipulate data from multiple sources, applying advanced statistical methods and machine learning.
• Develop and implement AI/ML tools and processes , such as recommendation engines and automated scoring systems.
• Build high-quality prediction systems and support multi-INT analytics .
• Design and produce data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and other graphical applications.
• Collaborate with analysts, technologists, and mathematicians to ensure analytic requirements are met.
• Provide written, verbal, and visual narrative products to communicate findings effectively.

What You Bring

Education & Experience (depending on level):

• Senior Level:
  • Master’s degree + 12 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 17 years of experience
• Mid Level:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of experience
• Junior Level:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience OR No degree + 7 years of experience

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Knowledge of data mining algorithms, ML frameworks, and predictive analytics .
• Ability to manage and analyze large, disparate datasets .
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data in written, graphical, and verbal formats.
• Prior experience with Multi-INT analytics and applying AI/ML to mission data.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in computer science, software development, or applied mathematics/statistics .
• Experience designing and implementing analysis infrastructure, workflows, and visualization systems .
• Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between technology and analysis, enabling mission-focused solutions.
