Medi Home Care , a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., currently seeks a Full-Time Documentation Specialist for our Home Medical Equipment (HME) location in Greenwood (Greenwood, Abbeville, McCorimick, Laurens) SC.

• Reviews Held Revenue Detail Report weekly, researches each account and corrects issues.
• Prints CMN Due report for expiring CMNs. Prints and verifies new CMNs are valid and records each one in the CMN log.
• Forwards all CMNs to the physician for signature and continues weekly follow up until received.
• Prints PAR report on a weekly basis. Obtains PARs from insurance companies and documents into the system.
• Faxes or emails all CMNs and PARs to the Corporate Billing department on a daily basis.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of home care products and services offered by the company and all applicable insurance guidelines regarding eligibility for coverage and reimbursements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous medical or HME billing and reimbursement experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
