Job Title: Furniture Installer

Job Description

The Furniture Installer will play a key role in the successful completion of customer projects, taking direction from project managers and crew leaders. The primary responsibilities include managing and planning the installation of office furniture, ensuring products are transported, reconfigured, repaired, cleaned, and troubleshot effectively. The technician will work as part of project teams from start to finish, ensuring furniture installations are completed professionally and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Pull products from the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment or by hand at dock and street levels.
• Maintain the ability to install and adjust case goods and seating products.
• Disassemble, move, and reassemble systems products.
• Review floor plans prior to and during installations to understand, recognize, and measure critical dimensions.

Skills

• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience using small hand tools and reading instructional blueprints.
• Previous contracting, installation, carpentry, or furniture assembly/installation experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
