Inside Sales Representative
Location: Southwest Chicago Suburbs (Onsite Only)
Industry: Manufacturing - Valves & Flow Control

Overview:
My client is a leading manufacturer of industrial valves, proudly serving the market for over 150 years. Based in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, the company has built a legacy of engineering excellence, product innovation, and long-standing customer partnerships across a wide range of industries.

They are currently seeking a technical Inside Sales Representative to join their onsite team. This role is focused exclusively on inbound sales and customer support-ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically inclined, and experienced in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls and email inquiries from customers regarding product information, pricing, and availability

  • Provide technical support and guidance on valve specifications and applications

  • Prepare accurate quotes and process orders from start to finish

  • Collaborate with internal departments including engineering, production, and shipping to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers by delivering responsive, knowledgeable service

  • Accurately manage customer information and sales activity in the CRM system

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong technical aptitude-able to understand and communicate product details clearly and confidently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms

  • Must be able to work onsite full-time in the southwest suburbs of Chicago
