Job Title: Personal Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Location: Montgomery County, MD (in-person required)

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

About the Role:

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and discreet Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant to

support a dynamic household and growing event planning business. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional with a strong interest in event planning, hospitality, and family logistics. You’ll work directly with a creative, fast-paced entrepreneur and help manage both the personal and professional sides of life—ranging from children’s school coordination to high-touch client events.

Key Responsibilities:

Professional & Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support for an event planning business
  • Help organize event materials and inventory management
  • Arrange and manage travel and logistics and preparing itineraries
  • Assist with vendor communication, event scheduling, and client follow-ups
  • Schedule calls and assist with planning calendars

Personal & Household Support

  • Assist with household errands, vendor scheduling, and basic organizational tasks
  • Help manage home projects and deliveries
  • Help prioritize tasks and keep projects on track
  • Research for different projects
  • Coordinate school schedules, forms, and extracurricular activities for elementary-aged children

Ideal Candidate:

  • Local to Montgomery County, MD (position requires regular in-person work)
  • Bachelor’s degree (recent grads welcome!)
  • Strong interest in event planning, hospitality, or lifestyle management
  • Naturally organized, detail-oriented, dependable and great with time management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Great with kids and comfortable around young children
  • Flexible, upbeat, and willing to take initiative in both personal and professional settings
  • Reliable, discreet, and extremely trustworthy

Schedule & Details:

  • Part-time (guaranteed 20-30 hours per week to start) with potential to expand to full-time based on fit and availability
  • Some evenings or weekends may be required depending on event schedules
  • Must have reliable transportation
