Our client is a premier residential community dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for residents. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team.

Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our residents and their property. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring: Patrol the community regularly to ensure the safety of residents and guests.
• Access Control: Monitor and control access to the community, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and report them to the appropriate authorities.
• Surveillance: Utilize security cameras and other technology to monitor activities and deter potential threats.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to residents and guests, addressing their concerns and inquiries professionally.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with security systems and surveillance equipment.
• Certifications:
• Security guard license and certification
• Driver’s License with clean MVR (for driving positions only)
• Skills
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, guests, and staff.
• Ability to use smartphones and computers for data entry and retrieval.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Capability to respond to emergencies and physically assist residents if necessary.
• Flexibility:

Willingness to work various shifts, including nights

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
