What You’ll Do 

Own the strategy and execution for Koalafi’s ecommerce products and technical integrations. You’ll lead development of our checkout experience across platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce - managing everything from installation and setup to checkout experience to versioning and updates. You’ll also drive integrations with lending partners, POS systems, and merchant APIs to expand our reach and make it easier for every merchant to offer Koalafi. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Build and scale ecommerce apps, SDKs, and APIs that power intuitive and performant checkout experiences


• Act as a GM for ecommerce: manage adoption, optimize conversion, and monitor performance


• Lead platform-specific development efforts — from app store listings to merchant onboarding and support


• Own integrations with 3rd party partners like POS systems and financing waterfalls, collaborating closely with Engineering and Partnerships


• Use data and experimentation to prioritize and iterate on high-impact product work


• Align cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences for merchants and consumers

About You   

• 4+ years in product management, with experience in ecommerce or technical integrations


• Hands-on knowledge of platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce - including app development, release cycles, and merchant needs


• Strong product sense and business acumen — able to think holistically about merchant and user journeys


• Technical fluency and comfort navigating APIs, data flows, and partner integrations


• Excellent communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in fintech, embedded finance, or working with lending partners


• Experience supporting merchant adoption and engagement post-integration
