Overview

Ensure DNV requirements are met as well as increasing volume in fee for service and potentially increasing volumes in Sports Injury Therapy by freeing athletic trainers to provide therapy.
Qualifications

Responsibilities

Prepares athletes for training by welcoming, comforting, and providing warm-up exercises per FFS guidelines.
Directs specific questions by athletes to ATC Lead
Per direction from ATC Lead, educate athletes on correct form and proper use of equipment.
Maintains athlete confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Follows workout routines provided by the AT staff to improve athlete muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular health.
Can follow modifications for exercise prescription for different athlete ability.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Assists in operational cleaning duties found within the opening/closing binder.
Ensures operation of performance enhancement equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, and directing maintenance work to the ATC Lead and or Sports Medicine Supervisor.
Maintains therapy supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies.
Serves and protects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and DNV standards.
Sanitize equipment according to infection control policy and procedure and ensures maintenance records. Completion of daily checklist which includes but not limited to temperature checks, stocking supplies and linens as well as cleaning equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $15per hour - $24.32per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
